“Prices over in the Disney World area are much higher than any other place in Florida,”
Wow, tourists are getting stuck with higher gas prices...big surprise, that...

Trust the gas station in the tourist areas of Florida to make a killing on gas prices whenever the smell the opportunity.

. . Time to turn these stations into a parking lot just drive in & park it. Lets see how much gas they move @ $5.89 with their drive full of cars just parked.

$6 per gallon is certainly an unreasonable price for gasoline at this time.

Those people who are paying over $5.00 a gal. must not be using GasBuddy, thats their mistake.

The higher the price of gas and low economy, the less business we get. That is all bad news for people.

I think the story should have said, "Some visitors to Florida are paying for nearly $6/gallon gas." not "Florida drivers." Looking at Orlando Gas Prices, the first page has fifteen stations all below $3.60. I just filled in Jacksonville for $3.559. If you drive about a mile down the road from those "almost $6" stations you're surrounded by gas averaging $3.65.

It's one of the reasons I avoid the area whenever possible. It's the Land of Ripoffs!

The best time to use GasBuddy is when you are traveling, especially around tourist areas that tend to charge higher prices.

This doesn't surprise me one bit! I lived in Florida for several years and the State itself will gouge you anyway it can!
